About the event

The rugged, weathered peaks of the Flinders Ranges in Outback South Australia forms some of the most dramatic backdrops in Australia. Trekkers journey to Lake Torrens,a salt lake that stretches for 250km in a breathtakingly stark wilderness, providing excellent opportunities for photographers, and budding geologists. Skirted by red and yellow sand dunes, this salt bush country offers a stark contrast to the distant panorama of the Flinders Ranges. Guests on this trek can develop a relationship with the camels, rest in comfortable swags under thousands of stars, and dine on meals prepared over the camp fire coals.
