Not your standard BushWalk.
An unparalleled bushwalk.
Hands-on walking, assisting Cameleers.
This once-in-a-lifetime journey requires good bushwalking fitness, curiosity, and a willingness to develop a genuine bond with both the camels and our experienced cameleers.
This experience invites you to engage in every aspect of the cameleer’s role, and if you feel confident, leading camel strings with our seasoned Cameleers through varied terrain.
Support is always close at hand, and guidance from Senior Cameleers ensures a safe, structured, and empowering learning environment. As a participant, you can sleep alongside the camels and take part in essential daily routines — grooming, saddling, blanketing, and shepherding.

You’ll gain a deep understanding of animal care, teamwork, and life in the Outback.
Our aim is to share the knowledge we’ve gathered over decades of working closely with people and camels in the context of crossing remote terrain - And the extraordinary sense of connection that grows when you walk together through remote country. The benefits are untold.
Adnyamathanha Country.
For tens of thousands of years, the Adnyamathanha—people of the rock—have lived within these ancient ranges.
We walk with permission and in friendship, moving through Country seldom entered, travelling from near Copley into the back ranges of Arkaroola.
